Softpencil - the Return!!

Wayhay!!  My wonderful friend Elizabeth at Softpencil asked me to be a full time design team member for Softpencil following my Guest DT spots - I am sooooo chuffed I cannot begin to tell you.  I love Elizabeth's image (and those of her sister for that mater) and I was delighted when she asked me to be a Guest DT for December last year and March of this year so you can image how I felt when she asked me if I wanted to be on the DT full time!  So from now until October I will be posting a card every Softpencil Thursday!
For this first week we were asked to use one of Elizabeth's new Digi Papers which come in black and white.  This paper is called Michu's Mom - ain't it cute??  So, here is my first DT card:
I coloured the paper digitally in my paint shop programme and followed the sketch at Sketch and Stash which I have shown below, and then matted the paper onto blue card from my stash.
I used another of Elizabeth's images called I Love You as my main image for this card.  I adhered the image to a die cut from Die Cut Dreams and added some pearls top and bottom.
Again I used another of Elizabeth's images which comes as part of a set of digi tags and coloured this using promarkers to match the rest of the card.
I added two fabric flowers recently purchased from an online Craft Shop called Craftee.  If you have never heard of it then click on the link and have a look.  Julie offers a whole variety of goodies in small quantities so you don't have to buy a huge number if you don't want to.  Her service is fabulous and whilst I hadn't been back in a while I always know I will get good service, so thank you Julie.

So, there you have it, my first full time DT card for Softpencil.  Don't forget Elizabeth has a group at Papercraft Planet.  Here you can chat with other Softpencil fans, download freebies and join in the occasional challenge so why not pay it a visit.
As well as the Sketch and Stash challenge I have found a couple of other challenges that this card will fit and they are:
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Animal Crackers
Crafty Catz - Let's go Digital
